Christian County YMCA

For Youth Development, For Healthy Living, For Social Responsibility

At the YMCA, we put Christian Principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. But when some are left out, it leaves us all a bit poorer. That’s because giving everyone safe and nurturing programs benefits all of us. By providing needs based programming for all ages and stages of life development we help everyone grow into responsible, successful people and we make the community we love a better place to live.
One person at a time. One family at a time. YMCA programs teach us all healthy living and the social responsibility of sharing it with everyone. In 2017, the YMCA provided $101,107 in subsidy that positively impacted 608 children and families in our community.
Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, we also develop valuable skills while gaining confidence and self-esteem. You simply can’t put a price on strengthening and enriching the character of a child, a family, or an individual.

Your contribution Helps Make It Happen

Membership and program fees at Christian County YMCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, we truly need your help. We subsidized $32,385 in our programs such as; youth sports, swim lessons, child care, and other youth events, just 2017 alone.
Through the Christian County YMCA Annual Campaign, your contribution helps us provide program support and financial assistance to kids, families, and individuals who need it in our community. Only by working together can we give more people the opportunity to grow strong in spirit, mind, and body.

Big Goals. To Make A Big Difference

This year’s Annual Campaign is launched with an ambitious goal of raising $40,000. We as that you please give generously so that more people in our community can share the YMCA experience. Donations from last year’s Annual Campaign helped over 600 youth and families experience positive effects of YMCA programs and activities. Our success will always be measured by the lives we touch.
In 2017, we were able to subsidize 20% of our total number of beneficiary units! We hope to increase this percentage in 2018, sponsors like you will help the Y make positive changes in our community.
