We are currently looking for:
Develops, organizes and implements high quality, member-focused YMCA aquatic programs that are adequately staffed to ensure quality and safety. Bachelor’s degree preferable. One or two years related experience preferred. Minimum age of 21. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Position is potentially full-time. Required to have or obtain within 30 days of hire: American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, Blood Borne Pathogens, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer; First Aid; Administering Emergency Oxygen and Child Abuse Prevention Certifications.

Youth Sports Coordinator
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Youth Sports Program Director at Christian County YMCA oversees the development and operations of the youth sports program, ensuring the program meets its intended goals.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred. One to two years related experience (e.g., supervisor or coordinator of child/sports programs) preferred. Position is potentially full-time. Minimum age of 21. Within 30 days of hire, completion of Child Abuse Prevention, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens training. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Commitment to inclusion and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Must be available for nights and weekends. Job includes; cleaning, light maintenance, giving building tours, class set and tear down and assisting the member service representative. This position is for part time work.
Must be 18 years of age. Closes December 1st.
Must be 16 years of age. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and remain alert and focused under high heat and humidity. Able to communicate effectively, respectfully and in a professional manner to patrons. Mature and responsible enough to enforce rules and maintain public safety.
Must hold either a YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. OR pass a YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard class before first day of work. This position is for part time work.
