We are currently looking for:

Deck Supervisor (Part-time)

Position Summary:

Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, slide, and surrounding areas. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and promotes safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Builds positive relationships with members and program participants through effective listening and verbal skills and creatively finds ways to connect them to one another and the Y community. 

    • Minimum age of 15
    • Certifications in basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, first aid, and emergency oxygen administration for Aquatics required
    • Child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date
    • Blood Borne Pathogens Training within 30 days of hire date
    • Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness
    • Must demonstrate Deck Supervisor skills in accordance with YMCA standards

Lifeguard (Part-time)

Position Summary:

Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas.     • Current Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard or equivalent
    • Child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date

    • Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness
    • Must demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards.

Yoga Fitness Instructor (Part-time)

Position Summary:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Group Exercise Instructor serves others by intentionally welcoming, connecting, and supporting them and inviting them to get involved and give back to the community.

    • Certification in area of expertise or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire required
    • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required to be obtained within 3 months of hire
    • Experience teaching group fitness classes preferred
    • Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds
    • Commitment to inclusion and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Spin Instructor (Part-time)

Position Summary:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
