Everyone must take a soap shower prior to entering the Family Aquatic Center. No lotions or<br \/>\noils permitted.<br \/>\n2. No running on deck. No rough play allowed. Be respectful of others.<br \/>\n3. Swimmers must be wearing a lined swimsuit. No thong swimsuits. Rash guard, water and<br \/>\nsurf shirts are acceptable, but any cotton t-shirt must be white.<br \/>\n4. No glass bottle or containers allowed in the Aquatic Center. Food and drinks, including gum and candy are not allowed.<br \/>\n5. No hanging on the safety ropes or lane lines.<br \/>\n6. Lifeguards may require patrons to demonstrate swim skills before entering the deep end.<br \/>\n7. Front dives are permitted in the deep end only. Flips are not allowed. Otherwise, enter the<br \/>\nwater feet first.<br \/>\n8. Chewing on or tearing apart noodles is prohibited.<br \/>\n9. Children age 7 and under are permitted on the Interactive Play Area.<br \/>\n10. Children under the age of 5 must be within reaching distance of their parent or guardian at<br \/>\nall times.<br \/>\n11. Children age 8 and above are able to swim without a parent or guardian present. Children<br \/>\nunder the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.<br \/>\n12. Public displays of affection are not permitted in the Aquatic Center.<br \/>\n13. Untrained children must wear YMCA\/Illinois Department of Public Health approved non-<br \/>\ndisposable swim diapers.<br \/>\n14. No jumping into or across the Lazy River. No standing, sitting, climbing over or walking on<br \/>\nthe concrete peninsulas.<br \/>\n15. No water wings are allowed in Family Aquatic Center only <strong>Coast Guard Approved Lifejackets <\/strong>are permitted. Children with flotation devices are not allowed on Big Blue Slide. Children with floatation devices must be within reach of adults at all times.<br \/>\n16. Use of the Aquatic Center while under the influence of alcohol, tobacco, tranquilizers or other<br \/>\ndrugs are prohibited.<br \/>\n17. Upon hearing the blast of the air horn, the water must be evacuated and patrons will<br \/>\nsit\/stand on the deck until the guard signals them to re-enter the water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Slide Rules<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Only one rider at a time shall be allowed to enter the slide.<br \/>\n2. You must be taller than 42 inches to ride the slide.<br \/>\n3. Follow the instructions of the slide attendant.<br \/>\n4. Wait until the slide attendant informs you that the landing area is clear before entering and<br \/>\nproceeding down the slide.<br \/>\n5. Slide in a sitting position or on your back only.<br \/>\n6. Slide feet first. No head first sliding.<br \/>\n7. Do not attempt to stop on the slide.<br \/>\n8. Warning: Water depth is 3.5 feet<br \/>\n9. No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling, or stopping on the slide. No diving from<br \/>\nthe slide.<br \/>\n10. Keep your hands inside the slide.<br \/>\n11. No PFD\u2019s allowed on the slide. (Noodles included)<br \/>\n12. The slide is not recommended for pregnant women.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whirlpool Rules<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Must have lined swimsuit to enter.<br \/>\n2. Must shower before entering. Use of lotions and body oils is prohibited.<br \/>\n3. Pregnant women, elderly persons, infants and persons requiring medical care, or suffering<br \/>\nfrom high or low blood pressure should not enter the spa\/hot tub without a prior medical<br \/>\nconsultation and permission from their doctor.<br \/>\n4. Children under six years of age are not permitted. Children ages 6-15 must be accompanied<br \/>\nby a parent or guardian to enter. Parents are responsible for keeping children respectful of<br \/>\nothers.<br \/>\n5. Children must be 16 to use adult facility by themselves.<br \/>\n6. Long exposure may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting. The maximum recommended<br \/>\nexposure time is 20 minutes.<br \/>\n7. Keep breakable objects out of the area.<br \/>\n8. No jumping into hot tub is allowed.<br \/>\n9. Use of the spa while under the influence of alcohol, tranquilizers or other drugs or medicines<br \/>\nthat may cause drowsiness or may lead to serious consequences is prohibited.<br \/>\n10. Do not use at water temperatures greater than 104 degrees F.<br \/>\n11. Do not use alone.<br \/>\n12. All Aquatic Center rules apply to the Hot tub.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steam Room\/Dry Sauna Rules<\/strong><br \/>\n1. A soap shower is required prior to entering the steam room\/Dry Sauna and after usage. No<br \/>\nlotions or oils are permitted.<br \/>\n2. Swim apparel must be worn in the steam room\/dry sauna at all times.<br \/>\n3. Shoes are not allowed in Steam Room\/Dry Sauna.<br \/>\n4. Use of steam room\/Dry Sauna by the children under the age of 16 is prohibited.<br \/>\n5. Pregnant women, elderly persons, infants and persons requiring medical care of suffering<br \/>\nfrom high or low blood pressure should not enter the steam room\/Dry Sauna without a prior<br \/>\nmedical consultation and permission from their doctor.<br \/>\n6. Use of the steam room\/Dry Sauna while under the influence of alcohol, tranquilizers or other<br \/>\ndrugs or medicines that may cause drowsiness or may lead to serious consequences is<br \/>\nprohibited.<br \/>\n7.
