Social & Leadership Programs
4th
& 5th Grade Party
There is a DJ mixing music from 6:00 – 9:00
p.m. Participants can swim in the Family Aquatic Center
from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Concessions are available throughout the evening. The YMCA will feature these 4th
& 5th grade parties from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the
following dates:
September 6, October 4, November 1 & December 6

Don’t
miss this opportunity to spend time with friends at the Y. Once a month, the YMCA, along with the
Taylorville High School Student Council, will provide games, activities and
sports for Taylorville
High School
students. The program will begin in
September, although dates have not yet been set. Free
food and drink will be provided!

YMCA Teen Center
This program is on Friday evenings from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.,
and will resume on Friday, August 29th. 6th through 8th
grade students may participate in a variety of activities such as swimming,
basketball, wallyball, volleyball, pin-pong, foosball and more! A DJ mixes music from 7:00 – 10:00
p.m. Parents are always welcome to come
and check things out!

*5th Quarters: When there is a Taylorville home football
game or basketball game, Teen
Center lasts until
11:00 p.m.

Youth & Government
This program is
offered to students in grades 10 – 12 with a special interest in
leadership. Participants join a
Youth and Government delegation in the fall and choose their area of
interest in legislative, judicial, executive, press, page or lobbyist
phases of state government. Call the
